Our Story

In the heart of Queens, New York, two individuals,

Eric Lunce (E-Smokex Music) and Jamal Ingram (Bankstop DJ Mally G), were raised amidst the rhythm and soul of Hip-Hop, and R&B. Their childhood memories are woven with the vibrant tapestry of a culture that shaped their lives and countless others. Inspired by their deep connection to this influential movement, they embarked on a mission to create a place that would embody the essence of their upbringing—a place where the magic of family, fun, and soul could thrive.

From the love they held for their borough of Queens, New York, Eric and Jamal ventured to Atlanta, yearning for the familiarity and culture that once embraced them. Their longing sparked the birth of a festival—a cherished gathering that would unite the Queens residents who now call Atlanta home.

This event was designed to embrace their heritage, offering a sanctuary where their culture could be celebrated. It began as a one-day affair, a joyous afternoon filled with incredible music, delectable food, basketball games, and countless other delights.

Year after year, their labor of love flourished, evolving into an extraordinary four-day extravaganza. Queens Day ATL Weekend seamlessly blends the dynamic spirit of New York with the magnetic energy of Atlanta. It's an awe-inspiring celebration, skillfully weaving together the fabric of two remarkable cultures, united by a profound love and appreciation for their roots.
